Gandhi, along with Apasaheb Pant, the son of Raja Bhavan Rao Pant and Maurice Frydman, a Polish-Jewish engineer drafted the Aundh State Constitution when the Raja announced his intention to grant full self-government to his people—a revolutionary decision for a princely ruler.
